Zach Allen was born in West Texas and is a proud, fourth-generation Texan where his great-grandfather served in the Texas Rangers. Continuing in a long line of military service in his family, Zach served in Operation Desert Storm through the Army National Guard where he broadened his cultural perspectives by living in Saudi Arabia. After the Army, Zach was a political science major at the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
After finishing college he joined Bristol Hotels and Resorts where he became a Director of Sales and Marketing in the hospitality industry where he had the chance to live in Atlanta, Chicago, Birmingham, Austin, Denver, Memphis, New Orleans, Miami and Jackson. In August of 2009 Zach joined Children’s International Medical Group where he now serves as Divisional Senior Vice-President of Rural Health.
Zach represents CIMG in numerous events and healthcare associations. Currently, Zach is the Past-President of the Louisiana Rural Health Association, President of the Mississippi Rural Health Association, a member of the Alabama Rural Health Association, National Rural Health Association and the National Association of Rural Health Clinics. Zach is active in rural health advocacy where he serves on the National Rural Health Association’s Government Affairs Committee and the NRHA Medicaid Task Force and he also chairs both the Louisiana and Mississippi state chapters Legislative Committees. Additionally, Zach has been acknowledged as a Mississippi Rural Health Fellow as well as a Fellow of the National Rural Health Association.
